1. Protect your children from the conflict between you and your spouse.
2. Make decisions  based on your children's best interests. 
3. Encourage your children to discuss their feelings about what is happening to his/her family.
4. Speak positively about your ex in front of the children.
5. Children are not your personal messengers.
6. As much as possible, maintain your child's rountine.
7. Trying to buy your child's love and affection to will only break the bank.
8. Do not use your children as pawns in the battle with your ex.

Children's Rights

1. Children need to know that although their family is changing, your love for them won't.
2. Children have the right to have a relationship with both parents.
3. Children have the right to live free from conflict.
4. Children have the right to be kids and not be responsible for solving their parents problems.  That's not their job.  Their job is to have fun, laugh and play.
